A useful shortlist keeps the information that could change your decision. Use this checklist for one product and one intended variant at a time. Checking a box means you recorded or reviewed something; it is not a product inspection or a seller approval.
The interactive homepage checklist follows the same six areas. It keeps no account or stored history, so its checkmarks reset on reload. Keep your lasting notes in a document or sheet you control.
1. Identify the destination
Record the exact product URL and the source marketplace when it is available. Confirm that you reached an individual item rather than a seller’s shop or a search page. Note its item ID together with the platform name.
Pause if the destination clearly describes another item. A matching thumbnail does not resolve a conflicting source ID. The product-link guide provides a way to investigate broken or changed links.
2. Write down the selected option
Record size, color, version and quantity in words, even if you saved the URL. A link may reopen with a default option. Read the selected price again before submitting an order.
For example, a row titled “black bag” may include a small accessory, a full-size bag or several materials under one listing. The option label and dimensions are the facts you need to compare.
3. Establish the fit or dimensions
Choose the measurement that answers your need. For a top, it may be garment chest width and length. For a bag, it may be interior clearance for your laptop. Use the same units across candidates and distinguish flat measurements from full circumferences.
If a dimension is missing, ask for it or keep the row marked as uncertain. Do not substitute a guessed size from another seller.
4. Separate photos by origin
Record whether you viewed seller images, community pictures or QC photos of your own received item. Note which specific details are visible and which are missing. Pictures of another buyer’s order may help you formulate a question, but they do not document your own order.
Use the QC photo checks to identify useful views. No picture alone establishes authenticity, materials, performance or safety.
5. Keep price and delivery assumptions apart
Save the currency, selected item price and date checked. Record delivery and service costs separately. If packing might change the decision, add the estimated dimensions or mark them as unknown until measured.
The shipping-weight guide explains why a large light item may need a different comparison from a compact heavy one. Confirm agent support and route eligibility before paying.
6. State the reason to keep the row
Finish with one sentence explaining why the candidate meets your needs, and list the unanswered questions beside it. “The measured opening fits my device; strap length still needs confirmation” is more useful than “looks good.”
Keep a row only when you can explain its fit with your requirements. If price, variant or source changes, review the affected details again. Return to the Hubbuy spreadsheet to compare alternatives without treating your earlier notes as a current guarantee.
